Musicians today have an almost endless complement of tools at their fingertips, allowing them to record in their homes, in friends’ homes – basically anywhere they can set up their computer.  While this approach offers a good economic compromise, it can end up presenting a musical one as well.

This is why a second set of ears with an outside perspective – whether that person is called a producer or an engineer – is crucial when a musician wants to craft their songs into definitive recordings. The right partner can help evaluate and refine the ideas already present in the demos or help come up with fresh approaches to your songs (or a bit of both). I can also help you decide on a location that ideally suits your project and budget.

Whether you’re just starting a project and want to use traditional rooms to record or are looking for help mixing what you’ve already done – or anywhere in between – I can help you make great recordings. I offer my services with the flexibility to work in a wide range of recording scenarios. Feel free to give me a call to talk about your next project.
